Job Description

As the Lead - Quality Assurance (Biosimilars) at CIPLA, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the highest quality standards in biosimilar products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, regulatory authorities, and manufacturing units to maintain compliance and drive quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee quality assurance processes for biosimilars, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (US FDA, EMA, WHO, etc.).
Develop and implement quality control strategies for biosimilar production.
Manage audits and inspections from regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to ensure quality in development and production phases.
Review and approve batch records, validation protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Train and mentor QA team members to maintain high standards of quality assurance.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: M.Sc./M.Tech/M.Pharm in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related fields.
Experience: 8+ years in quality assurance for biosimilars or biopharmaceuticals.
Expertise in: GMP, GLP, regulatory compliance, and quality management systems.
Skills Required: Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, leadership, and effective communication.
