Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Operator:

  • Diploma/ITI in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institute.

  • Experience in operating heavy machinery or shipyard equipment is preferred.

• Welder:

  • ITI in Welder trade from a recognized institute.

  • Certification in welding (e.g., SMAW/GTAW) is desirable.

• Fitter:

  • ITI in Fitter trade or equivalent.

  • Hands-on experience in assembling mechanical components or systems is an advantage.

Age Limit:

• Minimum 18 years, maximum 35 years as of the application closing date.

• Age relaxation as per government norms for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates.

Experience:

• Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in shipbuilding, ship repair, or related industries.

Roles and Responsibilities

Operator:

• Operate and maintain heavy machinery, tools, and equipment.

• Ensure adherence to safety and operational guidelines.

Welder:

• Perform welding tasks in shipbuilding and repair projects.

• Ensure precision and quality in welding joints.

Fitter:

• Assemble and install mechanical components as per project requirements.

• Conduct routine inspections and repairs of ship components.
