Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Operator:
- Diploma/ITI in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institute.
- Experience in operating heavy machinery or shipyard equipment is preferred.
Welder:
- ITI in Welder trade from a recognized institute.
- Certification in welding (e.g., SMAW/GTAW) is desirable.
Fitter:
- ITI in Fitter trade or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience in assembling mechanical components or systems is an advantage.

Age Limit:

Minimum 18 years, maximum 35 years as of the application closing date.
Age relaxation as per government norms for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates.

Experience:

Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in shipbuilding, ship repair, or related industries.

Roles and Responsibilities

Operator:

Operate and maintain heavy machinery, tools, and equipment.
Ensure adherence to safety and operational guidelines.

Welder:

Perform welding tasks in shipbuilding and repair projects.
Ensure precision and quality in welding joints.

Fitter:

Assemble and install mechanical components as per project requirements.
Conduct routine inspections and repairs of ship components.
