Project Title

• Project Name: “Dissecting the role of chromatin remodelling and DNA methylation in tomato reproductive development”

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Plant Science or a related field with at least 60 percent marks.

• Must have qualified NET/GATE or any other national level exam conducted by Central Government agencies.

• Candidates should have at least two years of research experience in molecular biology, gene expression, and plant-related studies.

Desirable Qualification:

• Experience in chromatin research, DNA methylation analysis, and working knowledge of bioinformatics tools will be preferred.

Age Limit:

• As per the norms of NIPGR and DBT. Generally, the upper age limit for SRF is 35 years, with age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC as per government rules.

Fellowship

• The selected candidate will be paid a monthly fellowship as per DBT norms for SRF positions.

• Selection will be made based on shortlisting of applications followed by interview (may be held online depending on the situation).
