Position Details

Job Title: Geophysicist
Organization: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC)
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Pan-India (Project locations may vary)

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification:

Master’s degree in Geophysics/Applied Geophysics/Physics or equivalent from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks.

2. Experience:

Freshers and experienced professionals are welcome to apply.
Relevant experience in seismic data acquisition, processing, or interpretation is preferred.

3. Age Limit:

Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 30 years (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per government norms).

4. Additional Requirements:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in geophysical software tools and applications.
Willingness to work in challenging environments and travel as required.

Key Responsibilities

As a Geophysicist at ONGC, you will:

Analyze seismic and geological data to locate hydrocarbon deposits.
Plan and execute geophysical surveys.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess exploration prospects.
Utilize advanced geophysical tools for data processing and interpretation.
